Question:

Tire cost?

about how much do four tires cost w/labor on a toyota corollanothing crazy, just standard tires?

Answer:

A min of $50 upwards of $120 for a tire. Depends on the tire maker. Size. Type of tire. And area where you live.
Call a couple of tire shops and get estimates before you even leave home. Ask them for the out the door price on four mid-line all season tires for your car. This should include all mounting, balancing, and taxes. You should be able to get them around $250. Call and get lots of quotes, and you can get a better price.
If you get the basic style of tires from a Pep Boys or a local Tire Center, you might be able to get 4 brand new tires for around $160. They tend to put the P175/65R14 on discount a lot so you might be able to get a good deal on some basic, no frills tires with a 30,000 mile warranty. If you have the extra cash, then go with a 50,000 mile tire. Best of luck in your tire shopping.
