Question:

Tire pressure, 32 or 35 psi?

I've always used the accurate tire pressure, but once I went to a tire shop to get a tire repaired so I asked them to go ahead and even out my all my tires' pressure. The guy told me that even though my sticker said to leave my tires at 32 psi that it was best for all (meaning everyones) tires to be at a 35 psi, does anyone know whether or not this is true?

I'm sorry, I though you said you went to a tire shop? Nobody who works at a real tire shop would give you advice like that unless they were still stuck in the 1970's. The short answer is if your door sticker says 32 psi then 32 psi is what you should run. If you have doubts, check with the folks who made your tires. Out of the dozens of tire manufacturers I deal with on a daily basis I have never found one that suggests anything other than following the vehicle manufacturers tire inflation recommendations. So what this guy says is absolutely not true, at least according to the guys with the walls full of engineering degrees who design and test the tires. I would suggest you might want to find a new tire shop. If they can't get something that fundamental correct who knows what else they are doing wrong.
