Question:

Tire Replacement?

How much does it cost to have to rear tires put on your car (it‘s only labor because I am providing the tires).

Answer:

The tire shop i go to charges $12 for mounting and balancing. So it shouldn't cost you more than $25. I've seen some places that do like $8 mount balance around too, just depends on where you go.
The price will vary from shop to shop. The Firestone store in Ft. Wayne, IN charges 6 to 10 dollars per tire, plus a 5 dollar fee to get rid of the old tire plus a 3.50 fee for shop supplies, butlike I said the price varies.
In our shop if you bring your tires in to have us mount and balance them it is $15.00 ea. / $5.00 to dismount mount and $10.00 to balance. If we dispose of your old tires our county has a $2.00 ea. disposal fee. The price will vary from shop to shop and by area. We do charge more if they are low profile tires (45 series and lower) or large diameter wheels (20 and larger).
