Who makes the best Because I drive a chevy avalanche and the cladding is always covered in spray from the tires I want the wet look without the spray and splatter
Dont use it, reguardless of what they say. All these products have been prooved to dryrot your tires, cause slippage while towing, and it also has silicone in almost all of them. Silicone is the worst thing you can get on or even near your clear coat finish. It will give it a hase that you will never get out, basically it eats the clearcoat and makes it hazey. Not a pretty sight on a 40,000 truck.
Spray is fine if you use an applicator sponge made specifically for tires. They are available at parts stores near to the tire spray. Tires must be clean before using any tire dressing. Treating a tire that's not clean will only put another layer over the dirt, making the problem worse. Completly wash and scrub tires with tire cleaner and tire brush. Completely spray the clean dry tires with a thin mist. Let it set a min. Then spray a little on the sponge and wipe tires evenly. Keep tires clean between washings by using a heavy stream of water, rinsing until water is clear.power wash? Reapply tire shine if necessary. The more you use it, the sooner the tires will season.
