Question:

Tire valve core sticking on Motorcycle?

First time with this problem, not sure what i‘m doing wrong here. I‘ve got a GSX-R1300 Suzuki, both my tires are fairly new, always replace the valve stems when I change out the tires also. Couple of months ago I checked my tire pressure on the front, when I let off the core it started spitting out air like I was still holding it. I keep my 4-way tool in my pocket all the time, so I tried tightening it, didn‘t do any good, just had to push it down in the middle for it to pop back up. Well, I didn‘t like that too much so I just put a new core in and left it at that. Checked my tires yesterday, sure enough it did it again, what‘s up? Are we talking dirt amp; debris getting stuck or am I having a brain fart here. I sure hope the cores are special or anything, cuz I thought they were all the same amp; I just grabbed one I had laying around from a pack i‘d bought at walmart.

Answer:

Some may be slightly different. You may have to replace the whole stem. D
