Question:

Tires pressure?

What is the pressure PSI for tires 235/70R-16 equipped on my Jeep liberty 2003? on the door side it say 33psi but the tires were suppose to be 215 size.

Answer:

it should say on the tires.... its prolly 35-40lbs on the tire look for parenthesis....in your case it says 33psi so that might be it, look for 33psi on the tire and thats how much u want in overinflation is DANGEROUS underinflation wears your tires more, to much is dangerous..... i just watchd a video on that..... u want to get the exact amount of air, none less or none more
Check the max tire pressure on the tire. Inflate it to about 5psi shy of that. If the truck rides too rough, deflate them all evenly about 2psi. Overinflated will wear the centers of the tires. Underinflated will wear the edges. You're going to have to experiment a bit.
tire pressure is on the side of the tire. the sticker on the door is for the OEM tires, which obviousely are not the tires on the jeep anymore...
