i have an 05 town car and my back up sensor are not working when i put the car in reverse. but every once in a while out of the blue they work. the sensors on the rear bumper are clean and no scapes. how can i fix this ?
It could be that the switch is sticking ,a mechanic will be able to tell you in a few minutes ,but he will need to put the car on a car lift .
Also, the wiring to the sensors should be checked.
