I'm just wondering people take on it.I know of several intersections in DC that have frequent accidents that have no cameras.I also know of a few steep hills that have speed cameras a the base of the hill where few accidents happen, Hmmmm.

Answer:

The story p h gave sounds like what my town is turning into because of illegals, I'm afraid to go out my door day OR night unarmed! Glad i have a conceal/carry permit! But yes, illegals DO pack 20 people in one house and they should be stopped.
This new law is economically and environmentally irresponsible. As I understand it, businesses that sell second hand children's products will be exempt from the required testing, but will not be allowed to sell anything that they have reason to believe is over the limit for lead. And how, aside from the expensive lead testing, are they supposed to know that? I think that resellers should be allowed to continue selling used children's items, but should be required to make a reasonable effort to check items against lists of recalled items, and dispose of items that they find to be recalled. I realize that there are most likely plenty of items out there that do not meet the lead standards but are not on any recall list. Still Buyers should continue to have the freedom to purchase used items, but at their own risk. Buyers should have the responsibility of using their own common sense and precaution. At a time when our country is suffering serious economic problems, and there is such concern for our environment, it just doesn't make sense to expect people to overload the landfills with children's items that would otherwise have been reused.
Let's just say for the purpose of argument, if you sold an item (any item) and were required to charge a sales tax, the amount of the sales tax would not constitute income for you. Whatever you collect, would by necessity, be remitted to the state in which you are conducting business. In addition to collecting and remitting the tax, you will need to register with the state and obtain a re-sale certificate.
