I am painting my truck black but the carpet inside is like a burgandy color and falling apart.Can I just put like new black carpet down or what else could i put in the floor of my truck
You can put anything you want. I knew a guy who was sick of the nasty smell that wet car carpet made, so he ripped it out and put linoleum in it.
I had a '76 F250 that just had a black rubber mat in it. Great for hosing out a muddy interior!
sure!. also you can use house carpet also. but before you put carpet down, unhook the battery, open both doors, clean the floor off and brush paint the floor with rust-olem paint, let it dry good, then put the carpet down. the paint will protect the floor board.
