Alright so my turtlebeaches were working fine and today I started using then and I think the talk back cable is broken but I'm not sure cause I can still hear the game and myself talking but on mw3 of I plug it into my control the chat icon thingy moves for a second and then doesn't let me talk???

Check that both sides of the talkback cable are firmly plugged in (controller and headset side). If the plug isn't in all the way, it can cause problems because of the bad connection. If that’s not the problem, then try a different XBOX controller. Sometimes the jack wears out over time and makes a bad connection with the talkback cable.
