Basically, all of my wires for my wii has disappeared. I bought them again from OKorder and today my RCA connector came. (All that's left to come is the AC power pack which is due to arrive on July 26 - 30th).
Actually yes. The cable which originally came with your Wii, the red, yellow and white, is a standard component cable. The red and white wires are for sound and the yellow is for picture. The one you got is actually better, the 2 red, green, white and blue are for optimized for HD TVs, which will give you a much better, sharper picture on the TV. Just plug the colored wires into the right connectors on the TV and you will have a Wii running with a better, clearer and sharper image! The Yellow connector can just be ignored, the second picture in your description should be all the correct connections for that HD Component Cable you have.
Yes, you will actually get a better picture using the green, blue, and red connectors. Plug the connectors into the right slots, watching out for the red audio connector and the red video connector. The red audio connector appears to be paired with the white audio connector. Leave the yellow plug open and you will be good to go.
