Question:

Tyre Pressures?

I check my tyre pressures every 2 weeks. I use a digital pressure gauge in conjunction with a double barrel foot pump to set the pressures. However I feel they may be up to 1.0 PSI out. Is this going to matter much?

Answer:

cold air is thicker than hot air and therefore more volume is sucked into the combustion chamber. like you get better economy driving on a cold night then on a hot day. the cold air intake is meant to scoop up the air while driving via a cold air intake cut out in the bonnet. but i doubt if you ever see a return on the expence involved but the engine will run cooler and slightly more economical but not much.
1.0 psi error is insignificant. Tyre pressures vary considerably according to temperature anyway.
Most tire pressure gauges have an accuracy range of 2-3psi even digital - unless you spend some big money for a really good quality gauge like they use in auto racing. Jay P has it right - just checking and keep the pressure within the range on a regular basis is the best habit don't over think a couple of PSI.
1 PSI won't matter for tires. It's close enough. What is more important is that you check/adjust the tire pressures while the tires are cold ( before you start driving ).
LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!! HAHAHAHALOL!!!!! Im guffawing my **** off on what the clown above suggested approximately CAI. He suggested it features HP brings in chilly air in. Um, hate to be the undesirable guy right here yet any moron that tells you CAI are greater effectual than inventory is smoking crack. The CAI would not herald chilly air from the outdoors for the reason that maximum of them are affordably designed have super gaps on the air inlet enables the nice and comfortable engine air temp in to the duct The production unit setup is the terrific gadget CAI you may likely very own. there is not any restrict on those whilst in comparison with the CAI. there is not any HP earnings the two from any of that crap
