After losing my original USB cable for my Olympus Fe340 camera, I bought a new one online that matches my camera. I was very excited to finally upload my pictures but when I plugged the cable into the appropriate spot on my harddrive a message popped up on my computer saying,Power Surge On Hub PortA USB device has exceeded the power limits of its hub port. To re-enable the port, disconnect the hardware and click reset I followed the instructions but it still isn't working and everytime I plug it in the message comes back up.How can I fix this and finally get my pictures off my camera?!18 hours ago - 3 days left to answer.- I don't have a memory card [my camera can hold like 40 pictures]- I tried plugging it into the other 'hub' but still nothing- it does have the cylinder- I plugged it in directly to the back of the harddrive

it could be the usb cable. your camera probably draws power from the usb port, so you probably got a bad usb cable.
Try to delete all your USB devise and log in again and see if you can get to themif you have reset to the device use it tooremember that you need to reboot every time you do any change to your system.
some ports on you device could be low capability as an occasion, in case you're plugging the digital camera into the greater USB port on your keyboard, then you truly could get this variety of blunders. This additionally happens on low-fee USB hubs that have not got a capability grant to boost the capability. attempt a different port on your device
