I am doing a big project on Valve and it's games. I am currently doing some research on the company and wanted to see if anyone had any interesting facts or information about Valve that may be useful when doing research, thank you. :)

i just watched it again.. haven't seen it since it was released. Since then they've made Team Fortress 2 free to play, and any gamer that plays f2p will tell ya.. f2p/microtransactions are the future. Also they came out with Alien Swarm, and amazing isometric shooter where you had to rely on your teammates much like left for dead.. but even more indepth group dynamic. Then Portal 2 of course.. and DotA 2 is still in beta but looking great also. I really think the 1 thing that makes Valve so loved is the relationship it has with its consumer/gamers. Especially in the modding community. I know alot of people like me who will stand behind Valve in all their future games.. and that's perty damn crazy to say for a company that is trying to sell you things... especially in the Video Game world where so many are out to squeeze every dollar out of their customers and IPs.
