I was trying to start my son's car with the remote of his alarm/remote starter and somehow turned off the alarm. Now I can only lock the doors but no telltale chirp. Is there some way to reset this thing? We have no paperwork on the system. He bought the car used. He just joined the Marines and I would like to have it working right when he comes home. lol
That smoke alarm circuit is designed to be just for smoke alarms only. In some cities, it may be a code requirement. I wouldn't mess with it.
