These kind of chairs are used in art and animation academies. but i don't have much informatioin about it. Not even the correct spelling.
They were used for half-drowning witches. Why they would be used in art nowadays, I cannot imagine. It might be DONKEY chair, which is a normal chair with boxes built under the arms, and/or on the back, for storing equipment. (Because of how donkeys were loaded with packages). It must have a more modern name, but I do not know it. This makes more sense for places where you have to keep small tools handy.
