Will it smell like smoke when we get it into our house. When we walked into the building you could smell the smoke, but the carpet just smells like new carpet. If we do get it home and it does smell like smoke is there anyway to get the smell out?
there are usually two very small plates covering the screws that you cant see. those plates usually just pop off using a small screwdriver. then you will be able to get the screws off. those screws are always on THE INSIDE OF THE DOOR, or else anyone could just take them off. RIGHT? take a hard look for those two small covers. good luck to ya
I would buy the type is the most popular of all- so if you borrow other people's tools, you won't have to worry about changing anything (it gets to be a pain; done it plenty of times.) The most popular style is the one with the one ridge-however there are different lengths of nipples-and you want the shorter length as this is the most common, yet probably the one you already have. Regarding quality; you get what you pay for. I've bought cheap ones, and have seen the ball bearings in the female end rust. This is not a desirable thing (I work outside.) The different qualities of metals will play a major role in how long the fitting will endure. They all seem to leak sooner or later when they get old. Just replace the female end, which is always the problem. The amount of air pressure doesn't matter. Keep some cheapies on hand to get you out of a bind.
No, I do it all the time. Usually I throw a pillow over the vent (I like it cooler in the bedroom - I sleep better)
