Question:

What are better, metal arms or metal legs?

I have metal arms, but someone I know has metal legs. We always fight over which is better. What do you think?

Answer:

The chronological order of the games in the Metal Gear series is: Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes (Not yet released) Metal Gear Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake Metal Gear Solid/The Twin Snakes Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance (Not yet released) I'd recommend playing in storyline order, so start with 3. Portable Ops can be bought on PSN for $10, but unfortunately can only be played on PSP. Don't skip it if you don't have a PSP, though, or Peace Walker, which is in the collection, will make no sense to you. Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake are 8-bit games, so they're pretty dated by today's standards, but are easily some of the best 2D game ever. They can both be accessed in Metal Gear Solid 3's menu in the HD Collection. Metal Gear Solid is a PS1 classic you can download for $10, but there is also a GameCube remake called The Twin Snakes which is more faithful to the story established by other games and quite frankly, is just better. If you can't play GameCube games, the original will still suffice. Metal Gear Solid 4 is on the PS3, but it's getting a little hard to find these days, you might need to order it online. Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance is a spin-off hack'n'slash game set after 4. It comes out this February. It isn't just hack'n'slash, though, some stleath elements (avoiding detection, destroying cameras, etc) still exist. Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes was just announced a few months ago. It takes place after Peace Walker but before Metal Gear. Other than this, we really don't know too much about it yet. The other night at the Spike VGA, a trailer for a game called The Phantom Pain was shown, and there is a lot of evidence to suggest it may be related to Metal Gear, and could even be Metal Gear Solid 5. Hope this helps you.
It will be fine, I suggest you play 3 first, and buy MGS1 for ps3 it's cheap on psn
GOjericho is right....,if u don't wanna by it you can watch it on YouTube. But play part 3 first (that's solid snake dad) and play 1 2 4 and the others (that's solid snake)
I'll be honest, the plot of MGS is not easy to understand. If you want to understand the storyline, play 3-1-2-4. But since you only have the HD Collection now, you can start with 3-PW-2. If you care more about the gameplay, then I suggest you start with 2, because in my opinion, it's the easiest. PeaceWalker is more like the comedy of MGS. It's fun and hilarious. MGS3 is where the realistic features come in, adding the significance of camouflage, injuries, and even stamina in the game. Bottom line, if you think you would like to understand the storyline a bit better, then start with 3. If you like to used to MGS gameplays and function, start with MGS2. Good luck! The MGS series are awesome. PSN - CorruptedWolf
This is a good link for downloading Metal Gear Solid V Ground Zeroes for free: bit.ly/1uSFcLV Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes is one of the two parts in which Metal Gear Solid V is divided. For me, it's the best game ever.
