What are good fuel additives for my car?
You'd really just be wasting your money by using it, Most fuel (modern fuel) already has all that stuff in it to keep the injectors clean etc. But for the odd time, Maybe once a year or whatever to be safe, Ask the Seller, They would be able to reccoment the best one suited to your car and year.
Most high quality branded fuels have additives or detergents already mixed in so buying fuel additives are a waste of money. You could instead opt for a higher octane fuel or get an octane booster additive. Doesn't really do anything but as you may know, higher octane just burns faster which eliminates any knocking or pinging during hard acceleration.
The best fuel additive you can buy is called 44k. its made by bg. its hard to find. you can find it at carquest. and at almost all dealership parts deptartments. you only need to use it ones every oil change it stays in the tank that long. its relly good stuff.
