Question:

what are some extra safety precautions that I could take when working with fiberglass resin?

I 've bought fiber glass to make cosplay armor and I plan on making a gauntlet outside the house in the backyard to avoid the chemical smell to spread around the house, it is not safe to inhale all of fiber glass. That is why I've bought a mask to cover up my nose and mouth, of course I have goggles, and gloves to avoid skin contact. If I work outside the chances of bringing the fiber glass smell will decrease. My only other problem with working outside is that I don't want the smell to be to strong to where the neighbors can smell it. Also I have dogs that I plan on locking them away in their cages for the time being, so they wont get to close to the resin.Any advice on how I could work on this project without disturbing others?

Answer:

Wow, . Well, I think I have covered all of the items and where to put them as state above. Remember to weed put any garbage or items she no longer wants and give to charity. If you have any questions e-mail me. Happy Organizing and Decorating!! Hope this info helps!
Serious answer first, the most suprising I have learned about is potting soil/dirt , apparently as it continues to decompose, the heat generated can actually ignite the dirt itself. (There was a story about it on the news (last summer) so we are not supposed to keep our gardening stuff inside. Now for the funny thought; what about running a remote gas powered helicopter and having it hover just under the alarm, the fumes should do it. Back to serious Has everyone changed the batteries in their smoke detectors this weekend? If not , I'm sure Richard H will agree when I say Git 'er Done Ps I hope the 10 pts goes to Richard H,.. Its the least we can do.
