in case you weren't aware of this; slipknots playing style doesn't even categorize as being metal anymore, they play with more of an alternative style and you don't want to listen to that, it's audio decay. I read the other participants answers and most of the bands they have listed play more of that contemporary alternative metal , which sucks in my personal opinion, here is a list of a few bands that I think should impress you.
