Just say you are concerned about your and other people in the facilities safety.Most children will be going back to school in September so go during school hours, or go past dinner hour when most families eat their dinner.If that does not work then contact OSHA. Tell them the safety concerns you are having in the club. The worst thing you can do is cancel your membership and go at another location out of town.
You don't have to tell another employer that you were fired, especially if you didn't work at the previous job that long. I would leave it off my resume, if at all possible. That's what I did when I got fired, and nobody has found out about it. Employers will only check out what you put down and give references for.
