What are the front axle nuts supposed to be torqued to on a 95 olds delta 88 Royale?

Answer:

i have a 88 delta 88 royal and if your talking about the lug nuts then all i do is just tighten them.i criss cross when i,am tightening them. i never have any problems coming loose. do you have aluminum rims? mine are steel.
Most axle nuts (I assume you mean the single nut on the drive axle that was so tight you almost cried unless you have an impact wrench) are torqued to 180 ft-lbs. I don't have a torque wrench that goes that high so I use an 18 inch socket handle and put my upper body weight on it. If it is too loose the splines will wallow out and then you will have trouble! If you mean the lug nuts, tighten them to 80 ft-lbs. It's been a long time since I've seen lug nuts with any other spec. Tightening them unevenly, or getting them too loose or too tight, invites warping of the brake disk.
around 65 ft/lbs but call your parts dealer for specs
