Question:

What are these 3 cables on my 305 Chevy to my carb?

I know the second one is the throttle the third may be the TV but im putting on a new carb and its totally different

Answer:

Kind of hard to see, but #1 and 2 are the throttle and transmission kickdown. Just pump the gas pedal to see which one the throttle is. The small cable #3 should be the cruise control.
Good picture ! What is TV ? Is your vehicle manual transmission or automatic? I am guessing automatic as #1 should be your transmission kick down linkage. When going down the road and you want to speed up, depending on how much you push the accelerate and what gear you are in, that linkage will be pulled and shift the transmission into the next lowest gear. That is why the long slot in it so gas pedal has to be pushed pretty far before it pulls on that linkage. #2 is your throttle. #3 is your cruise control The carburetor should have come with a bag of hardware. There should be what is called a throttle lever extension screw to attach accelerator cable to carb throttle arm. Please remember to install the throttle return spring. And make certain that all linkages are in the proper position and throttle returns to idle position before starting engine or driving vehicle. As in be ready to kill engine,or key off immediately. You do not want any chance of a stuck WOT(wide open throttle) on your engine. If you label holes on throttle arm and attach pic link I might suggest where to attach throttle and cruise linkages. Second answer: And I mean I like the nice clear picture, it is very easy to see details, I am complimenting. Hole #3 - Throttle Hole #4 - Cruise (Stud with ball may unscrew, or unbolt, out of old carburetor throttle arm) #7 or #8 Return spring Please be certain that return to idle spring is pulling it back to idle and NOT pulling it towards full throttle. Looks like spring would go from #7 or #8 back to silver hole near black plastic of cruise control cable (lower fifth of picture) maybe?
