depends on how active you are, If you work out alot about 1800 cals if you dont less than thatthe best thing to do is cut out sweets sodas, eat 3 small meals, 2 healthy snacks(fruits, carrotts) so on and most important is to get that heart rate goingIf your out of shape, start walking fast, then as you get better jog, even better runIm your height and I lost 40 lbs in about 4 mths byt diet and exercisegood luck
There are about 3600 calories per pound of weightI think that you should end up eating 600 to 700 calories less per dayI have a linkIt gives plenty of answers, but its about 3500 calories.
A standard rule calorie consumption is add a zero to the desired weight and eat that many calories, so you should eat about 1240.
