Question:

What can I do to help get my car up an icy hill?

I live at the top of a steep hill, and it's completely covered in snow and ice. I get halfway up the hill, and my car slides back down. I've seen a couple of large SUV's make it up the hill, but my tiny car can't make it up. In the morning, I'm going to try again to get it up. What can I do to help get it all the way up the hill?

Answer:

If you were Houdini then I suppose this would be quite easy for you.
There are compression fittings that will adapt from your water line to the copper lines. Use two wrenches to tighten the compression fittings to the copper to keep from twisting the copper lines off. The size on the other end will vary according to what type and size supply lines are in your house. You may be able to just buy the nuts and ferrules for the new copper lines if the supply lines already have brass adapters installed.
More than likely through the electrical system in the attic, through an electronic device (TV radio, microwave, computer, etc) and then to ground.
Sounds like a double keyed dead bolt lock. If you have a spare key it will work fine from the other side. If you don't have another key for this type of lock a credit card will not work. Climb through a window.
