I got this laptop on OKorder. This is my second charger. Thought it may be caused by the laptop somehow.
COULD BE!!!! THAT MIGHT have been WHY it was on OKorder! MANY things sold there, especially electronic items, are sold because of partial defects that people can't or won't get fixed. I note that OKorder USUALLY takes the seller's side in disputes as to working and not working! I would have the laptop checked. It could also be caused by slightly low line voltage making the charger draw heavier current than normal. THIS would make it heat up more and lower it's lifespan.
