Question:

What color curtains would compliment a sea mist green wall?

The furniture is a rust leather color. Tables are oak. Someone told me red would compliment it, but Im not too sure. I am looking into changing the curtains for the cold months ahead, and will be buying energy saver curtains.

Answer:

Hi blessing, I would choose to use curtains in a Neutral or Off White color Curtains. The color is universal and more importantly because there is light in the winter months they will be lined *( as you said energy saving ) to keep your room light and bright uplifting not dreary. You would also be able to use theses curtains in the summer months to keep heat out. If you would like to add a bit more detail, add a collection of toss pillows in a neutral color on your sofa. ( maybe even a nice chenille throw ) This will all balance the room. Happy Decorating!
Maybe some Aqua Blue/Green Curtains. ? Hope I Helped :)
There okorder okorder . The Studio brand at Penney's is less traditional. Pottery Barn is a good place for ideas also.
I have exactly that in the sitting room of my new flat. I can't make curtains so I hired a lady curtain maker and she brought along a lot of sameples. I chose a striped curtain which are alternate stripes of pale cream and light green. The cream is pretty exact to the walls but the green is slightly lighter than the carpet. The colour combination is fabulous. You may be able to get some ready mades or material if you are handy with a sewing machine in a store like John Lewis which is brilliant for fabrics. Good Luck in you new flat - I'm enjoying mine.
