Hey, Im a 16 year old boy, and ive recently had my room painted a vibrant orange colour. I have a lot of ethnic african artifacts etc, like masks and things on the walls. It looks really nice, although i used to have a blue room, so my carpet and curtains are dark blue.( Not as dark as navy, but quite dark). they look alright, but its so plain, i have plain walls and plain curtains, so i was thinking maybe a chocolate brown or cream colour curtains? And also any ideas for the carpet. The room is a bedroom and it gets quite a lot of light. :DThanks :D
White would look bright and would contrast with the blue and orange so yes i would go for white or cream or a Coffee colour but if it was me id go for white:)
I'd go with brown and I've seen curtains at Walmart that are striped ethnic lookin colors ... browns reds oranges so I'm sure you could find some cool print curtains if you look around a bit. As for the carpet maybe a light brown taupe color. Maybe even black but that's a bit Halloween-ish ... hope I helped :)
