I'm doing an informative speech on emergency medicine and I wanted to take about what doctors wear such as scrubs, gloves, masks and such and why. Any information is helpful.
It could be the electric motor is wearing out. Another thing to try would be to lubricate any parts of the lock that come in contact with each other. This would be done best with taking off the door panel and looking inside.
Usually, with a laser, you can only see the point of light at its end, unless there is smoke, mist, or something in the air. The small particles then scatter the photons and you can see the actual beams. You can see this at rock concerts where they usually release fog from a fog machine before firing the lasers. The smaller the particles are, the better, so mist or fog is about the best. But you can't see the beam in just clear air.
