Question:

What Do I Tell 4 Year Old About Smoke Detector?

He messed with the toaster dial so the toast burned and made smoke causing the smoke detector to beep. My 4 year old screamed and ran out the front door in total fear. I explained to him it was okay, it beeps when there is smoke in the house. Now he's determined to have me turn it off. We know I can't do that. Suggestions on what to tell him to rid him of the fear?

Answer:

Yes because the DALMATIAN breed hasn't suffered enough thanks to bybs and puppymills you want to join in too? Get her spayed. These are things you learn YEARS before you ever plan your first breeding. The fact that you don't know this means you more than likely don't know the other 99.9% of the things you need to know to be a good breeder and to be a good breeder of Dalmatians.
yes fire alrms do tht too at my house and what i do is go to the control panel and flick the switch if that doesnt help that get a stool and remove the batteries from it! u dont know why it wood be doing this but please follow these instruction thanks!
Find the specific alarm unit that is malfunctioning and remove it. The sensors inside of them are prone to breaking, which also causes the alarm to be triggered. Removing it completely will solve it, but leave you unprotected. They are easily replacable though so it should not be a worry.
I am not sure what you are asking, but I do know there are three common types of fire extinguishers Type A for wood and paper (non-flammable combustibles) Type B uses carbon dioxide and is used on flammable liquids (gas, oil) Type C is a finer dust and used on electric fires Type D is for metalsthis is a very hot fire. (The type of extinguisher relates to the type of fire) There are other types out there but these are the most common.I learned this stuff when I was in the Navy.Go Navy!
The batteries get too cold and put out less voltage. The detector senses a low voltage condition and warns you by going into an alarm condition. This is quite common about 4 am when the temperature is the lowest. Turn the heat on and get the temp up to about 60 F.
