i bought a mac second hand with final cut pre installed but everytime i go to start FC, it tells me the card i have now is not quartz capable. i bought a new AGP graphics card (radeon, 512mb) and i'm not sure if it's quot;quartz capablequot;.
Most quartz movements are pretty well universal. But they come in a couple of different shaft lengths and models. Remove the one you have and take it with you when going to purchase another one. Just check the yellow pages for your area under clock repairs. Or you can google clock parts and find lots of places you can phone and be helped getting the proper size for hand shaft and pendulum length. Most movements come with new hands and pendulum and are not overly expensive. Good Luck
