What does steel structure HW stand for?

What does steel structure HW stand for?

Answer:

HM is a H steel, whose height and flange width ratio is roughly 1.33~~1.75. It is mainly used as steel frame column in steel structure, and used as frame beam in frame structure subjected to dynamic load
HW is a H type steel height and the width of the flange is basically the same, mainly used for steel reinforced concrete frame column column, also known as reinforced steel columns in the steel structure is mainly used for the column;
H is divided into hot-rolled H steel and welded H steel (H) two, hot-rolled H steel is divided into wide flange, H steel (HW), flange H (HM) and narrow flange H (HN) three.
