What effect does the resin play on the paint?

Answer:

There are many kinds of resin, and the resins used in coil coating are acrylic resin, epoxy resin, polyester resin and polyurethane resin. Different tree fat, its physical and chemical properties, as well as weather resistance, corrosion resistance and so on are not the same.
The resins required as film forming materials are fairly stable in the coating storage period without obvious physical and chemical changes. When the film is formed, the film can be rapidly solidified into a film under specified conditions.
Resin film forming material is the most important component and base of coating, also called base material. It is the main factor to decide the property of coating. Its function is to combine pigments and fillers and form a uniform and dense coating on the base material, which forms a coating after curing. Film forming resin is the basis of coating, which determines the toughness of the coating, the adhesion to the base material, the physical, chemical and mechanical properties of the coating.
