well i have a windows 7 i downloaded from a site (X), and is almost run out of time for activation,so i search on the web and they talk abouta loader!! well am not very informed in this of pc's so i wanna know what exactly means loader? what exactly do? and how really works? cuz i saw few sites saying thinghs like this( windos 7 loader from (X) person and works, or w7 loader from (X) ultimate edition,well what that mean and if that can helpme whit my w7 ultimate i have installed on my pc? please help whit nice explanation of this i wont do something that may afect my pc thanks

A 'Loader' is, in this context, a Linux-based grubloader which circumvents Vista/Windows 7 activation by preloading the required SLIC activation data into memory before Windows loads. This fools Windows into thinking that the BIOS contains this information and therefore that the machine is a legit OEM branded box. It's purpose is to allow 'users' to pirate the Windows operating system. Tut Tut... :-)

Dual boot is seperate. If you want to run some linux programs in Windows 7, you can use VirtualBox or VMware or Parralels in a special mode where they will take merge the interfaces together in a wierd voodoo way.
