Quartz itself does not have a scent. HOWEVER, scents from the surrounding environment might stick to the quartz. Let's say that you put a piece of quartz near poop, then the odor of the waste would stick to the quartz. :p Just saying. Only example I could really think of, lol.
being a crystal, it is impossible for quartz to have any odor. odors can only be captured by ionic substances (eg: salt) leave a piece of quatz in a crock of sh*t for a week, wash it off, and it will still be odorless.
