Question:

What happened to my transmission?

The car was parked in the driveway, and the transmission slipped out of park, and the car rolled back!! When we checked, the car was still in park!! The dealer could find nothing wrong?

Answer:

unless ice formed under the drive wheels it was not fully in park may be a linkage adjustment or a damaged park pawl in the transmission always set the parking brake !!!!
Since the dealer couldn't find anything wrong I would suspect that the car was not fully in park. It's also possible that the selector is slightly out of adjustment. In any case it is always best to use the parking brake. It is best for the transmission and your car if you set the parking brake first, release the foot brake so the car can roll back slightly (sets back against parking brake), and then put the transmission in park. If you put the transmission in park first the car can roll back against the mechanism inside the transmission causing premature failure (not immediate, but some time in the future) plus it will be hard to disengage the transmission park mechanism. This is especially true if parking on an incline.
