Question:

What hotels at DisneyWorld have two queen beds or a queen and bunk beds?

We do not want two double beds but most rooms at Disney World are like that!We found a Queen and bunk beds at Animal Kingdom --- are there other hotels on site with that set up?

Answer:

Katlyn listed some excellent infortmation for you about the on-site Disney Resorts. If for any reason, that doesn't work for you, I have two resort recommendations, which do offer queen sized beds in their rooms and are minutes from The Walt Disney World Resort: 1. The Sheraton Safari Resort - located on Apolpka Vineland Rd. in Lake Buena Vista - just down the street from Downtown Disney and the Crossroads shopping complex. 2. The Best Western Lakeside - located by marker 4 on Hwy 192 in Kissimme - approximately 4 minutes from Disney's Animal Kingdom and less than 10 minutes from the rest of the Walt Disney World Resort. Disney's Animal Kingdom resort has a King a bunk beds in one room! Also pretty much in any resort you can find the bunk bed rooms although they are much more pricy than standard rooms! So yes there are most all other resorts have bunk beds.
Only the deluxe Disney resorts have two queen beds in the rooms. Those would be the Grand Floridian, Polynesian, Contemporary, Wilderness Lodge, Yacht Beach and Boardwalk. Only Animal Kingdom Lodge and Wilderness Lodge have bunk beds. All moderate and value resorts have two double beds.
To give you a short, straight answer - yes, there are other Resorts that offer either two queen-size beds or a queen-size bed and bunk beds. Disney's Wilderness Lodge is the only other Resort that offers rooms with a queen-size bed and bunk beds. The Deluxe Resorts at Walt Disney World do not usually have double beds. Here's some information about the bed situations in the Guest Rooms at the different Deluxe Resorts... Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge: Most rooms are available with your choice of king-size bed (available with daybed), two queen-size beds or one queen-size bed and bunk beds (available with daybed) Disney's Beach Club Resort: Most rooms are available with your choice of king-size bed or two queen-size beds (available with daybed) Disney's Boardwalk Inn: King-size beds (available with daybed) or two queen-size beds (available with daybeds) may be requested, but are subject to availability Disney's Contemporary Resort: Available with your choice of one king-size bed with a daybed or two queen-size beds with a daybed Disney's Grand Floridian Resort Spa: Available with your choice of one king-size bed with a daybed or two queen-size beds with a daybed Disney's Polynesian Resort: Rooms are available with two queen-size beds (available with sofa bed); king-size beds available in suites Disney's Wilderness Lodge: Most rooms are available with your choice of king-size bed, two queen-size beds, two queen-size beds and one pull-out sofa, one queen-size bed and bunk beds Disney's Yacht Club Resort: Most rooms are available with your choice of king-size bed or two queen-size beds (available with daybed) Hope I could help! * SeaGirl - Sorry, but you're incorrect. Most of the Resorts at Walt Disney World do not have rooms with bunk beds. Out of the more than 25 different Resort options on property, only two of them have rooms with bunk beds. And thanks, Beach Gal!
