Popular in the south .here is one ~~~Ice Box Fruitcake~~ 3/4 cup evaporated milk 1/4 cup orange juice 1 1/2 cups small marshmallows 1 box graham crackers, crushed 1/2 stick to 1 stick butter melted 1tcinnamon 1/2 t cloves 1/2 t nutmeg 3/4 cup dates chopped 1 1/3 cup raisins 1 cup candied cherries 6 slices pineapple drained well and cut up( can also use candied pineapple instead ) 11/2 cups chopped nuts :Soak marshmallows in milk juice at least 30 minutes, add all together and mix well place on aluminum foil making a roll you can also dust the foil well with coconut if you like , then roll into a roll Wrap well then refrigerate chill 2 or 3 days for flavors to mellow then sliceSome use sweetened condensed milk and more butter I prefer mine just a little les rich as this is so rich as it is You can play with the ingredients to suit your taste This is really good and easy
