I have a 2008 Wrangler JK Unlimited. I was out with a friend who has a Chevy truck, and found his offered a much softer ride on the trails. After a day out with my Jeep, I feel beat-up and knocked-around. His truck barely noticed a number of the bumps that sent my Jeep rocking all over the place. I assume that there‘s an advantage to having a hard suspension, but I don‘t do anything all that extreme, so having a softer ride would be nice. What do I want to look for in a suspension system if I‘d like ride more like his offers?
rough country or soft ride are good brands also ez ride
The main thing that will beat you up are the shocks. An Old Man Emu suspension by ARB is the best bet for a mild lift and great ride.
