Who says your mare is only worth $500? In my opinion, that is a bunch of crap. Obviously, you have done alot of work with her and she is athletic, with a good mind. What more could you ask for? I would be very happy to have a horse like yours! I have owned breeding stock paints and been very happy with them. They still have the genetics of a colored paint, and should be treated as such. I think the people that are telling you she is a piece of crap are jealous of you and your talented mare. What kind of horses do they favor? You can pick apart any horse if you're that type of person, and don't let them bother you.
