Hello,I appreciate the time you are spending to look and possibly answer my questionI have been doing a lot of research on the topic, some say there are easy ways of making an aluminum joint, I really don't knowI am very interested in ideas like green sand casting and lost foam casting but I am not entirely sure how the process works.I believe I can work with some of the castings for my prototyping, I'd like to either way, but I also want to weldCan I use a propane torch? A tig welder? Mig welder? What is a really affordable unit I could acquire for making a solid set of corners with aluminumThank you very much!
Start with 2 lbs of ground beef, blend with pork from 2 sausages, 1 cup of breadcrumbsMix in chopped onion, bell peppers, or mushrooms, to taste; or package of Lipton onion soup mixPlace in loaf pan, top with strips of bacon, smother with ketchup, BBQ sauce, or worcestershireBake in 350-400F oven 40-60 minutes covered with foil, remove for last 10 minutes.
Meatloaf is SO easy to makeIt's one of my favorites because of the simplicity ) I don't know how much you want to make, so I'll give you a basic recipeFor every 5 pounds of ground beef, you will need 3 eggs and about 1/2 cup of bread crumbsMix all of these ingredients in a large bowl, and salt wellThe meat loaf should be slightly sticky, holding together wellIf it is soggy, then add more bread crumbsIf it is crumbling apart, then you will need another eggGrease a loaf pan, and set the meat mixture in itTop with ketchup and bake at 350 for about 35 minutes If you do not have bread crumbs, you can easily substitute oats or crushed crackers, corn flakes, or cheerios(anything absorbant, really!) This basic recipe is really versatile, and you may find yourself adding things like Worchestershire sauce, onions, or spinach to it as you become more comfortable with the recipe.
This is how I make my meatloaf: 2 lbs ground beef 2 eggs 1/4 medium onion - diced 7-8 squares soda crackers - crushed black pepper to taste bread crumbs catsup Mix together the ground beef, eggs, onion, soda crackers and black pepperMix wellStart adding bread crumbs but just enough to take away the sticky feelingDon't make it too dryShape it into a loaf and put it in a sprayed loaf panPour catsup over the top and spread to make a thin layerBake in 350 degree oven for 1 hourCut in half at the center to make sure it's all the way doneIf it's not, add 10 more minutes but it should beIt makes great meatloaf sandwiches and freezes wellHope that helps.
This is my favorite, it's actually the ONLY meatloaf I like! Oh, for a side I prefer mashed potatoes and maybe some corn, and a green salad is always niceFresh fruit salad for dessertBoston Market Meatloaf Ingredients : 1 cup tomato sauce 1 1/2 tablespoons Kraft original barbecue sauce 1 tablespoon granulated sugar 1 1/2 pounds ground sirloin (10 percent fat) 6 tablespoons all-purpose flour 3/4 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon onion powder 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper dash garlic powder Instructions : 1Preheat oven to 400 degrees 2Combine the tomato sauce, barbecue sauce, and sugar in a small saucepan over medium heatHeat the mixture until it begins to bubble, stirring often, then remove it from the heat 3In a large bowl, add all but 2 tablespoons of the tomato sauce to the meatUse a large wooden spoon or your hands to work the sauce into the meat until it is very well combined 4Combine the remaining ingredients with the ground sirloin – flour, salt, onion powder, ground pepper, and garlic powderUse the wooden spoon or your hands to work the spices and flour into the meat 5Load the meat into a loaf pan (preferably a meatloaf pan with two sections that allows the fat to drain, but if you don’t have one of those a regular loaf pan will work)Wrap foil over the pan and place it into the oven for 30 minutes 6After 30 minutes, take the meatloaf from the oven, remove the foil and, if you aren’t using a meatloaf pan, drain the fat 7Using a knife, slice the meatloaf all the way through into 8 slices while it is still in the panThis will help to cook the center of the meatloafPour the remaining 2 tablespoons of sauce over the top of the meatloaf, in a stream down the centerDon’t spread the sauce 8Place the meatloaf back into the oven, uncovered, for 25 – 30 minutes or until it is doneRemove and allow it to cool for a few minutes before serving.
I have used fluxless aluminum repair rods with a propane torch and was amazed how well it worked, leaving a hard and strong beadI can't find the exact product but the source below looks promising.
