I find it cheap on ebay, so I dont know what is it!! ??
They say it is for use as a standard to compare with other gold that you are testing. In reality is is just a strip of base metal (probably copper) with a very thin coating of gold plating (probably worth no more than 50 cents) manufactured to the same size as the real thing.
