Question:

What is Network Cable Unplugged?

If a computer is hooked up to a dial up interent and keeps saying Network Cable Unplugged what does that mean? She said she checked all the cords and they are all plugged in right. I have no idea what it could be. Any help??

Answer:

This means there is no ethernet cable plugged in, since your on dial up this is not a problem To remove the warning do this StartSettingsControl PanelNetwork Connection rt click on Local Area connections then on Disable
That message means that your computer cannot detect a Local Area Network (LAN). It does not sense that the LAN cable is plugged into the computer, or that a connected router has stopped communicating with the computer. If everything is working correctly, ignore this nag message.
spywareplain and simplead-ware 2007 will make that go away along with other script errorsthink about it.if u r looking at a cable that is without a doubt plugged in and all the lights on the modem are on and you have not in any way shape or form changed them around or whatever,it is not 4:20 or it is and you dont partakemake sense? see-ya,dude
