Typically employers will not hold it against you. Legally, they cannot. It is not a reflection on your character, other than you know your rights, and are not willing to sacrifice them. Most companies will not find out this information without doing a background check. If you authorize a company to do a background check prior to your interview, that's not a company i would work for in the first place. Typically background checks, which is where this will appear, are conducted after you are presented with an offer. The winning of a lawsuit is not a mark against you in any respectable company. We have other issues to worry about when running background checks such as wrong termination reasons, verification of dates, people telling lies about graduating when they did not.Just go for the jobs you like, and don't volunteer the information about a lawsuit.
