Question:

What is the best material for the brightest projection screen?

I don't care about the best color or contrast but I want the brightest possible image. i have an old projector and am trying to make it as big of an image as possible without being dim. Don't tell me about some 9,000 dollar Elite projection screen I just want the brightest which is probably some coincidental cheap thing like reflective poster-board? Probably something reflective and/ or glossy, right? I tried printer paper but it was a little dimmer than my little DA-Lite screen.

Answer:

I have a neighbor like that! Every time there is a problem with the power or phone lines in our area, her alarm goes off forever! (She is too cheap to have it monitored!) So it just goes off forever! I think I would try what another poster said that 511 thing. However, I doubt that they can do anything about it. Even calling 911 won't help unless they break into the house and turn off the alarm! Maybe you should just stuff cotton into your ears and try to go to sleep. That's what I do!
This is normalhappened to me a few years back when I moved into a remodeled apartment. It is just burning off dust. I would either run it for awhile with the windows open or run it turn off your smoke detector for a while (just remember to turn it back on!) This might happen again next winter too when you turn on your heat for the first time after the warm weather.
Safety pins cannot be sterilized; they would melt if you tried to sterilize it. Alcohol/peroxide/soap/whatever doesn't kill all the germs, only an autoclave can. You need to get it out of your nose ASAP, there are so many germs bacteria on it, it's filthy. I'd also head to the doctor to get antibiotics as a precaution.
