i love smithing, archery and heavy armor. what is the best race for that,also where can i find loots of steel and iron ore/ingots?
in all honesty, the only things you should really care about when choosing race are: - active effects (such as frost resistance, which Nords have) - powers (such as adrenaline rush, which Orcs have) - appearance (you wanna look good, right?) and that's it. certain races will start with some skills higher (usually only a 5 or 10 level increase). but this is insignificant, as early levels can easily be earned. so look only at the three points i brought up above when choosing a race. as for iron ore, look in embershard mine, which is right in between helgen and riverwood
They all smith the same way, just a couple races start with +5's, but that doesn't matter much. You can get +5 just from casting a few steel armors or going through some cheap training at the beginning.
