What is the differance between pressure treated plywood and marine grade, besides $ 50.00 bucks a sheet?
For the best answers, search on this site shorturl.im/awlNF they both have about the same jobs. the Marines take a lot of pride in there traditions and history. the Marine Corps is also much smaller then the Army.
The Marine Corps is a branch based off of the Navy. The Marines job, on paper, is to storm a beach from the sea, and secure a small perimeter. After that, the Army comes in an occupies. There really aren't many beaches in the Middle-East, so Marines currently do basically the same job as the Army. The reason Marines are usually considered the most dangerous is because storming a beach was a very dangerous job, usually mounted machine-guns would keep very hard suppressive fire on them. The army is the largest, most technologically advanced branch, and the USMC is the smallest. That doesn't mean the Marines don't have spirit though. Different uniforms Different missions Same flag.
The marine plywood is made with a waterproof adhesive that prevents the sheets from separating. The PT is designed to get wet sometimes and not rot, but with prolonged exposure the sheets separate and become worthless.
