What is the difference between a waist wheel flowmeter and a vortex flowmeter?

Answer:

Vortex flowmeter is a velocity flowmeter. It calculates the flow through detecting the number of vortices flowing through the vortex generating body. It can be used to measure gas, liquid and steam.
A pair of lumbar wheels in the body of the lumbar wheel flowmeter is used to measure the number of turns of the lumbar wheel to measure the total volume of gas or liquid flowing through the cylinder describing chamber.
The waist wheel flowmeter belongs to the positive displacement flowmeter, it has two kinds, one is to measure the liquid, and the other is to measure the gas, also called the Roots flowmeter
