What is the distance between fire hydrants?
In other single and multi storey buildings, the spacing of fire hydrants shall not be greater than 50m. Minimum spacing shall not be less than 5m.Outdoor fire hydrant spacing shall not exceed 150m.
The spacing of indoor fire hydrants in high-rise buildings (warehouses), elevated warehouses and armour and class B buildings shall not be greater than 30m;
The spacing of fire hydrants shall be determined by calculation.
